POSITION SUMMARY
The Busser ensures a clean and neat environment and creates a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This person must work efficiently within a team to clear and reset tables between every seating. The scope of work includes:
- moving dishes from our customers’ tables to bussing stations
- prepare and refill tea
- clean up, wipe down, and reset tables and tableware for incoming guests
- stock up utensils and towels
- serve water, napkins, utensils, and/or sauce to guests
- prepare bowls and plates for large food orders, and assist food runners
- assist servers to the best of your ability
REQUIREMENTS
- at least 3 months experience as a Busser in a full-service restaurant preferred
- basic to intermediate English communication skills, Chinese is preferred
- must be able to assist guests and have basic customer service skills
- accustomed to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to be on your feet and alert throughout the shift
- ability to work effectively with a team
- stamina for continuous use of hands and arms for lifting
- stamina for continuous bending and reaching
